Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday.  We had a great time last night at our Dr. Seuss Activity Night...almost 300 kids and their families were there celebrating his birthday and having a lot of fun with all of the activities.  It was great fun!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS!  Thanks for all of the fun books that you gave us!

NEA Gets Star Treatment with The Lorax

The stars of the Lorax are shining the spotlight on NEA's Read Across America. The cast, Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Betty White, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms and Rob Riggle are this year's honorary Co-chairs and took time from their busy schedule to record two promotional videos for NEA. Zac Efron will join NEA President Dennis Van Roekel in New York for the March 2 national kickoff

Read for the Trees and NEA's Read Across America

The theme is green for a very special 2012 Read Across America celebration. NEA's Read Across America campaign will showcase the Lorax book as well as NBC/Universal's The Lorax. For a sneak peek, here's the latest trailer. The film opens nationwide March 2, 2012 and Universal, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, and Random House have joined NEA's Read Across America, creating new posters and classroom guides for the campaign. Read Across America will also develop new event ideas and materials to help you make this a Seussational celebration.

 So, do you do spring cleaning ?  If so, what do you do? I have done this many times and it is always such a great feeling to clean, get rid of, and donate.😍 So, I'm curious how do you spring clean?  Do you organize?    Here is what I usually do: *get three boxes  *label boxes - donate, throw away, resale shop (resale shop...that is a topic for another day) *decide the room *divide the room into sections on paper (it's overwhelming to do it all at once, so I do it in sections) *schedule   👉👉👉and this is key, the days you are going to work in what section *work your room, stay organized *take your boxes to appropriate places *in one week you have cleaned at least one room Soooooo, how do you spring clean?
